New Student Orientation for MBA/IMBA 84 & SEMBA 43 Program: Nurturing Future Leaders

The Master of Administration Business Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM) Yogyakarta Campus conducted an online orientation for the incoming students of MBA and IMBA programs, Batch 84, and the SEMBA program, Batch 43, on February 2, 2024. The primary objective of this activity was to furnish comprehensive information to new students regarding the intricacies of teaching and learning within the MBA FEB UGM Study Program, encompassing vital academic and non-academic aspects.

In his speech, Professor Amin Wibowo, Ph.D., the Director of the MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus, expressed his pride in the new students who have chosen to enroll in the esteemed MBA FEB UGM Study Program. He highlighted the significance of being part of an AACSB-accredited study program, a distinction held by only about 5% of MBA programs globally. Professor Amin further encouraged new students to actively engage in all activities, particularly emphasizing participation in the Leadership Enhancement and Acceleration Program (LEAP).

Throughout the orientation, new students were acquainted with the professional staff of the MBA FEB UGM Study Program and the MBA FEB UGM Student Association (MBA SA) team. Muhammad Daffa Muafa, CEO of MBA SA 16.0, warmly welcomed the new students, providing a detailed overview of the organizational structure and regulations within MBA SA 16.0. This association is committed to assisting and supporting students both within and beyond the academic realm.

The orientation endeavors to provide a strong provision for new students to undergo teaching and learning activities in the MBA FEB UGM Study Program. Notably, during the question and answer session, the new students exhibited great enthusiasm, posing queries that were thoroughly addressed by the Academic Program Coordinator.
