36th Anniversary Celebration of MBA FEB UGM

Master of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM) commemorated its 36th Anniversary on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at the Faculty Meeting Room MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus.

The event began with Khataman Al-Qur’an by Pesantren Tahfidz Qur’an Yatim Nurani Insani. This wise activity invited the presence of various related parties including; Chairman of the Senate of FEB UGM, Dean and ranks of the Dean of FEB UGM, Chairman of the Secretary of the Department of Management Accounting Economics, MM FEB UGM elders, Chairman and Secretary of the FEB UGM Study Program, the entire academic community of MBA UGM Yogyakarta and Jakarta Campuses.

The event was then continued with remarks by the Head of MBA Study Program of FEB UGM Jakarta Campus, Prof. Dr. Tandelilin Eduardus, M.B.A., in his speech, Prof. Tandelilin expressed his appreciation to the entire academic community for the dedication and commitment that has been given so far.

He also conveyed the readiness of MBA FEB UGM in facing challenges to always innovate and develop to face future challenges. “The research team is working in the near future to get results so that next semester we can take more precise and accurate steps for the development of the MM FEB UGM Program going forward,” said Prof. Tandelilin.

After that, a video showing the journey of MBA FEB UGM from time to time also enlivened the atmosphere, providing an overview of the long history and achievements that have been achieved by this program.

The event continued with remarks by the Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, M.Com., Ak., CA, who emphasized the importance of responding to sustainability issues as part of the mission of MM FEB UGM. “We must apply the issue of sustainability to our teaching level in various courses, we also received advice on the issue of sustainability leadership where we can produce alumni from both the Jogja and Jakarta campuses to become leaders who have awareness of sustainability. It does not mean that sustainability always has to be about the environment but also how business can run and maintain a balance with nature, the environment and with fellow humans,” he said.

As the highlight of the event, tumpeng was cut to symbolize the seriousness, gratitude, and togetherness in welcoming a new age for MBA FEB UGM. The event was closed with a group photo session. This momentum is a reminder of the spirit of togetherness and common goals to continue to grow and make the best contribution to the nation.
