The Master of Business Administration Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada, through MBA Fest and in collaboration with the Art and Entertainment Centrum (AEC), a non-academic club that facilitates students’ interests and talents in dance, music, and photography, successfully held Art Night 12.0 on Friday, May 22, at the MBA FEB UGM courtyard. Carrying the theme “Carnival of Dreams, Symphony of Youth,” this annual event served as a platform for students’ creativity and artistic expression, and has become one of the most anticipated events each year.
The lively event began with remarks by the Chairperson of Art Night 12.0, Faza Azzahra. In her speech, Faza expressed her appreciation to all committee members who had worked hard to prepare the event. She also conveyed her gratitude to MBA FEB UGM for the support and trust given in organizing the program. In addition, she appreciated the food vendors who helped enliven and support the success of Art Night 12.0.
The next speech was delivered by the CEO of MBA SA 20.0, Nadhif Daffa Priyansa. In his speech, he stated, “Amid the busy schedule of classes and assignments, the enthusiasm of the committee members in preparing this event has been extraordinary. That energy and enthusiasm have finally brought us to such a festive evening tonight. So, enjoy the night and enjoy the entire series of performances.”
Also delivering a speech, the Deputy Director of MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus, Luluk Lusiantoro, Ph.D., said, “Art Night is a moment for us to celebrate together. Art plays an important role in increasing happiness and allowing us to take a short break from academic activities. Therefore, enjoy tonight and all the performances.”
After the series of speeches, the event continued with various performances by MBA FEB UGM students, showcasing their potential and creativity in music and other forms of entertainment. The audience’s enthusiasm grew even stronger with the presence of food vendors, which added to the warm and festive atmosphere throughout the event.
The excitement of Art Night 12.0 reached its peak with performances by two main guest performers, Gamaband and DJ Theo x DJ Seto ft. Fidhel. Their energetic performances successfully brought the night to life and encouraged students, alumni, and the academic community of MBA FEB UGM to enjoy the entertainment together. The interactive music, cheers from the audience, and spirited atmosphere made Art Night 12.0 a memorable evening filled with togetherness.
Through the organization of Art Night 12.0, MBA FEB UGM once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the development of students’ interests, talents, and creativity beyond academic activities. This event was not only a space for entertainment and artistic appreciation, but also an opportunity to strengthen togetherness among students, alumni, and the academic community of MBA FEB UGM in a warm and enjoyable atmosphere.
