The Master of Business Administration Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM) Yogyakarta Campus, held an Executive Series on Friday, March 22, 2024, at the Sukadji Ranuwihardjo Auditorium MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta. This event is part of the Leadership Enhancement and Acceleration Program (LEAP) program, which aims to provide opportunities for students to gain knowledge directly from industry leaders. This time, the topic was “POS INDONESIA STRATEGY: Transformation for Business Sustainability” at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero). Dr. Faizal R. Djoemadi, M.Sc., Chief Executive Officer of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero), delivered his insights to the students.
The session was opened by Rocky Adiguna, Ph.D., Deputy Director of the MBA Program at FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus, with Widya Paramita, Ph.D., as moderator. “We are delighted that Mr. Faizal with Pos Indonesia brings a fresh story that Pos Indonesia is not as we know it. At least it will change to something new, including its logo,” said Rocky. He also hoped that students could absorb as much of the benefits of the stories and knowledge that Faizal R. Djoemadi presented as possible.
On his occasion, Dr. Faizal R. Djoemadi, M.Sc., explained the efforts of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) in surviving during the pandemic so that it could develop as rapidly as it is today, he said “Pos Indonesia implements a very strict monitoring system from bottom to top, internal and external digitalization transitions have also proven to increase the efficiency of the company’s work.” He added that students must fully understand situational leadership.
The students who attended showed enthusiasm by asking in-depth questions about the material discussed.
