MBA FEB UGM, through the MBA Student Association (MBASA) in collaboration with the Operation Club and HRO Club, organized Executive Series 2 under the theme “Human Capital 5.0: Transformation to Strategic Partner Through T2V Framework” at the Sukadji Ranuwihardjo Auditorium, MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta.
The event was opened by the Master of Ceremony (MC), followed by a performance from the AEC Club. After the speaker and members of the Board of Directors (BOD) entered the auditorium, all participants sang Indonesia Raya and the Gadjah Mada Hymn.
The program then continued with opening remarks from Amin Wibowo, S.E., M.B.A., Ph.D., Prof., Director of MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus. In his remarks, Amin emphasized the importance of collaboration among the program, students, and alumni in bringing practical industry experience into the learning process. He also encouraged students to use the opportunity to gain first-hand insights from practitioners with extensive experience in the corporate sector.
The main session featured Andy Arvianto, Director of Human Capital at PT Pertamina (Persero), with Bita Puspitasari, Ph.D., lecturer at the Department of Management, FEB UGM, serving as moderator. Andy discussed the transformation of the human capital function from an administrative role into a strategic business partner capable of supporting business strategy and value creation.
During his presentation, Andy also introduced the Talent to Value (T2V) approach and shared Pertamina’s experience in transforming its human capital function. He explained that the transformation goes hand in hand with the company’s business, cultural, and digital transformation, requiring talent management to become increasingly aligned with the organization’s strategic needs.
Through Executive Series 2, MBA FEB UGM students are expected to gain a broader understanding of the strategic role of human capital while also seeing how management concepts are applied directly within a large-scale corporation.
