The MBA Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM), through its HR Club and Sustainability Club, held a company visit to InJourney Airports Yogyakarta on Tuesday, 26 May 2026, at Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA). The activity was attended by MBA FEB UGM students to learn about human resource management practices, organizational transformation, airport operations, and sustainability in the airport industry.
During the presentation session, representatives from InJourney Airports explained the company’s strategies in building a work culture based on AKHLAK values, talent development, a customer-centric mindset, and the implementation of operation and service excellence. Students also gained insights into sustainable airport management, including green airport operations, energy efficiency, environmental management, and the role of airports in supporting sustainable tourism.
After the presentation, participants were invited to tour the YIA airport area to observe the facilities and airport operations firsthand. During the tour, students also had the opportunity to discuss with InJourney Airports representatives the company’s service development strategies, connectivity, and the role of airports as catalysts for regional economic growth and tourism.
This activity provided MBA FEB UGM students with a direct learning experience in understanding the implementation of business strategy, human resource management, and sustainability in the aviation industry.
