Master of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (MBA FEB UGM) Yogyakarta Campus held a New Student Orientation event for MBA/IMBA 83 & SEMBA 42 students at the Sukadji Ranuwihardjo Auditorium (4/8/2023). This activity aims to introduce new students to the profile of the MBA FEB UGM Study Program as well as various other important information, both academic and non-academic, which will begin their study journey at the MBA FEB UGM so that students understand the educational environment, curriculum structure, campus facilities, as well as various personal development opportunities that can be accessed on campus.
In his speech, Prof. Amin Wibowo, Ph.D., Director of the MBA FEB UGM Study Program, Yogyakarta Campus, expressed his pride in the decision of new students to join the MBA FEB UGM as a prestigious program. “You should be proud to continue your studies here because the FEB UGM MBA is AACSB accredited, whereas only around 5% of all MBA programs in the world are accredited,” said Amin.
New students were introduced to the professional MBA FEB UGM staff and the MBA Student Association UGM (MBA SA UGM) team during the event. Ahmad Iqbal Ashrye, CEO of MBA SA, also gave a speech to new students while explaining the organizational structure and regulations at MBA SA 15.0, which is committed to helping and supporting students in working inside and outside lectures.
In the end, it is hoped that this orientation activity will provide strong provisions for new students to face challenges and succeed while joining the FEB UGM MBA Program.
