Graduation Night for Prospective Graduates for April 2024: “Towards New Peaks”

The Master of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM) once again held the Graduation Night of Prospective Graduates (MPCW) at the MBA FEB UGM Plaza, Yogyakarta campus on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. The event was attended by the Dean of FEB UGM, the Board of the Department Management, the Board Directors of MBA FEB UGM, Lecturers, Alumni, Prospective Graduates, and Families. A total of 239 prospective graduates, consisting of 103 Yogyakarta campus students and 136 Jakarta campus students, ended their study journey successfully.

Prof. Eduardus Tandelilin, Ph.D. The director of MBA FEB UGM Jakarta Campus stated in his speech that of the total graduates, 51% were male and 49% were female. Among them, 65 people earned the cum laude title, with Hendra Bagus Setiawan winning Best Graduate with a GPA of 4.00 and with a study period of 1 year 5 months, and 8 days.

In the Best Graduation Speech session, Hendra Bagus Setiawan expressed his gratitude to family, friends, and lecturers who supported and prayed during his study journey. “To our parents, our in-laws, our families, and all those who continue to support us, I thank you for the blessings and trust that has been given to us, especially to my life partner.” He said.

Pikri Ilham Kurniansyah, M.B.A., Representative of the Alumni Family of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gajah Mada University, Master of Management Study Program (KAFEGAMA-MM), who was also present, congratulated the prospective graduates. He also invited prospective graduates to register at KAFEGAMA MM through the KAFEGAMA MM website, to build better networking with their seniors.

Prof. Didi Achjari, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM, congratulated the prospective graduates who will take part in the graduation procession at the Grha Sabha Pramana on April 24, 2024. “On this occasion, we congratulate the prospective graduates for taking a long journey until you can all reach this glorious point. We also thank you for the trust of parents and sponsors or institutions of prospective graduates, so that MBA FEB UGM becomes a place to learn and develop the competencies.” Prof. Didi said.

The event ended with congratulations by the Dean of FEB UGM, Board of the Departement Management of FEB UGM, Board of MBA FEB UGM, lecturers, and representatives of MBA FEB UGM alumni to all prospective graduates. (Public Relation/Documentation: Danis)
