The Master of Business Administration Program Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM) held an Orientation for the new Pre-MBA/IMBA 87 and Pre-SEMBA 46 students at the Sukadji Ranuwihardjo Auditorium, MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus. The event took place on August 8, 2025, attended by the Program’s Board of Directors, staff, and all newly students.
The orientation served as both an academic and non-academic introduction, designed to equip new students with a comprehensive understanding of MBA FEB UGM’s vision, mission, core values, and academic culture. The program also included presentations on the curriculum, academic information systems, student activities, and opportunities for international collaboration.
Beyond providing an overview of the learning process at MBA FEB UGM, the orientation aimed to instill fundamental values such as integrity, professionalism, ethical leadership, and collaboration. This orientation marks an important step in the transition of new students into the academic and professional environment.
Prof. Amin Wibowo, Ph.D., Director of MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta, expressed his gratitude and congratulations to the newly admitted students who successfully earned their place in the program. “You are among the chosen individuals to embark on this journey with us, in pursuit of your aspirations,” he remarked. The event continued with a presentation by Prof. Amin Wibowo, Ph.D., followed by Rocky Adiguna, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., Deputy Director of MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus.
This year’s orientation welcomed approximately 137 new students and was held in a lively and spirited atmosphere. It also served as an initial platform for students to build networks and a collaborative, supportive learning community. Through this event, it is expected that new students will begin their academic journey with enthusiasm, clarity of purpose, and a strong commitment to contribute actively not only within the campus environment but also to society and the professional world after graduation.
