The Master of Business Administration Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM) held an Open House for new Pre-MBA 88 and Pre-SEMBA 47 students. Organized by the MBA Student Association (MBA SA), the event took place at the Leadership Hall of MBA FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus on Thursday, February 6, 2026. It was attended by new students, MBA SA board members, and Muhammad Nadhif Daffa Priyansa, Acting CEO of MBA SA.
As part of the MBA SA New Student Orientation, the Open House introduced various student clubs and organizations to incoming students. The event aimed to encourage active involvement, support personal development, and foster meaningful networks beneficial for both non-academic and professional growth.
In his remarks, Nadhif shared, “I always hold on to one quote: Management is doing things right, leadership is doing the right things. Management is about executing procedures correctly, while leadership is about choosing the right course of action.”
During the event, each club presented its flagship programs and key activities, while also opening registration opportunities for new students based on their interests and development goals.
Through this Open House, MBA SA hopes that new Pre-MBA 88 and Pre-SEMBA 47 students will be motivated to actively participate throughout their academic journey. The event also serves as an initial step in fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous self-development within the MBA FEB UGM community.
