Kicking off the new semester in August 2018, MM FEB UGM received new students for Batch Regular 73 and Executive 32. An orientation session was held in Sukadji Ranuwihardjo Auditorium to facilitate the new students in getting know the campus further.
The orientation was opened with a special performance from MMSA Band, a band which members were students of Master in Management Student Association (MMSA) FEB UGM. During the event, all student clubs of MMSA competed each other to promote their clubs to attract new members from Batch Regular 73. The student clubs were Business Competition Club, Hustler Entrepreneur Club, Forum Keluarga Islam, Human Resource Club, Strategic Club, Career & Network Center, Keluarga Mahasiswa Kristiani, Marketing Club, Finance Club, Arts & Entertainment Centrum Club, dan Sports Club.
The Director of MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta, Dr. Hani Handoko, M.B.A., welcomed the students and congratulated them for joining the best business school in Indonesia as internationally accreditted by AACSB, an accreditation board from Florida, USA. In the future, MM FEB UGM aimed to pursue the EQUIS accreditation, an accreditation board from Europe. On the other hand, Bayu Sutikno, Cand.Merc., Ph.D., one of the Board of Directors, explained academic rules & policy, agenda, curriculum, and facilities in the campus. He carefully stressed the importance of 5Ps pillars on key success factors for students; Preparation, Presentation, Punctuality, Participation, and Performance.
In the event, the 167 students were introduced and invited to join some competition during AACSB Week on August 13-23, 2018 by the ambassador for AACSB Visit 2019. Lastly, MMSA Band closed the session with another outstanding performance.
