MBA-IMBA Class of 88 Pre-Program Students Participate in Leadership Potential Review to Assess Leadership Potential and Academic Interests

Students of the MBA-IMBA Class of 88 Pre-Program at the Master of Business Administration Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM), participated in the Leadership Potential Review (LPR) on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The assessment was conducted in CR 301, CR 302, and CR 303 at MBA FEB UGM as part of the Leadership Enhancement & Acceleration Program (LEAP).

The Leadership Potential Review is an important component of the orientation program for incoming students, designed to help them gain a deeper understanding of their individual strengths and potential. Through this assessment, participants explored their cognitive abilities, personality traits, interests, and leadership styles, providing valuable insights to support their academic journey at MBA FEB UGM.

The program began with participant registration and personal data collection before students completed a series of assessments, including cognitive aptitude, personality, interest, and leadership style tests. Each assessment was designed to help participants identify their personal strengths as well as areas for further development.

In addition to the individual assessments, participants took part in a Leaderless Group Discussion (LGD). This session provided students with the opportunity to collaborate in groups, share ideas, listen to different perspectives, demonstrate critical thinking, and work together to solve complex problems without a designated leader.

The Leadership Potential Review is expected to serve as an important starting point for MBA-IMBA Class of 88 Pre-Program students in planning their personal and professional development throughout their studies. The assessment results will also help students better understand their academic interests and leadership potential, enabling them to make more informed decisions regarding their concentration choices and future career paths.
