The MBA Badminton Championship (MBC) 2026 officially commenced on May 16, 2026, under the theme “Precision in Every Drop, Power in Every Smash.” The championship serves not only as a competitive sporting event but also as a platform to strengthen connections among students and members of the Universitas Gadjah Mada academic community.
In his opening remarks, Muhammad Nadhif Daffa Priansya, CEO of the MBA Student Association (MBA SA), expressed his appreciation to all participants for remaining actively engaged and excelling in sports despite the demanding academic schedule of the MBA program. He emphasized that maintaining a balance between academic and extracurricular activities is an essential part of developing well-rounded future leaders.
“Through the MBA Badminton Championship, we hope that all participants will uphold the spirit of sportsmanship, enjoy every match, and continue building meaningful connections with one another. We also greatly appreciate everyone who continues to demonstrate dedication and achievement in sports while managing the intensive academic commitments of the MBA program,” he said.
The MBA Badminton Championship was held on Saturdays, May 16 and 23, 2026, at the Leadership Hall of MBA FEB UGM. The tournament was open to the entire UGM academic community, including undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, and professional program students, as well as academic staff and administrative personnel.
Through this event, MBA FEB UGM aims to foster a healthy environment for collaboration and competition, strengthening solidarity across the university community while promoting an active lifestyle and the values of sportsmanship on campus.
