The Master of Business Administration Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MBA FEB UGM) has once again marked a proud achievement through one of its outstanding graduates. Yulistika Rahayu, a student of the MBA FEB UGM Jakarta Campus, majoring in Strategic Management from cohort JKT-SEMBA-47, was awarded the title of Best Graduate for the January 2026 graduation period, achieving a perfect Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.00.
This remarkable accomplishment was announced during the Pre-Graduation Ceremony (Malam Pelepasan Calon Wisudawan/MPCW), held at the backyard of Plaza MBA FEB UGM, Yogyakarta Campus, on January 20, 2026. Her achievement stands as a testament to her exceptional dedication, consistency, and strong academic commitment throughout her studies.
Yulistika, who belongs to the 2023 intake and officially began her studies at MBA FEB UGM on February 1, 2024, successfully completed all academic requirements with outstanding results. Her achievement reflects the perseverance and hard work she has demonstrated since the beginning of her academic journey. She shared that MBA FEB UGM’s reputation as one of Indonesia’s leading business schools was her primary motivation for pursuing the program. This reputation is supported by experienced faculty members and Universitas Gadjah Mada’s strong vision and mission in fostering future leadership values. Through her studies, she aspired to build strong values, integrity, and leadership character as a foundation for her professional career.
Born in Bandung on July 14, 1985, Yulistika described her learning experience at MBA FEB UGM as highly memorable. “My experience studying for more than two years at MBA UGM has been truly meaningful, as I had the opportunity to meet remarkable individuals from diverse backgrounds. This has broadened my perspective and way of thinking when facing challenges, as well as enriched my ability to identify solutions from multiple viewpoints. Through this experience, I believe we can contribute more effectively in the professional world,” she explained.
During her studies, Yulistika noted that her main challenge was time management, as she had to balance multiple roles and responsibilities simultaneously, including her professional career, academic commitments, and family life. This challenge became even greater as she went through pregnancy and childbirth during her study period, requiring strong commitment, focus, and perseverance to successfully complete her education.
Looking ahead, Yulistika aims to contribute more optimally at a more strategic level in the professional world, building on the knowledge and values she gained during her studies. She also aspires to pursue further education at a higher level.
Yulistika shared a message for current MBA FEB UGM students: “Stay motivated, and maintain consistency and commitment. Don’t forget to support one another so that everything we have worked for from the beginning can be completed well.”
Yulistika Rahayu’s achievement as Best Graduate for the January 2026 period is expected to inspire other MBA FEB UGM students to continue striving for excellence and to make meaningful contributions to both the professional world and society. This accomplishment also reaffirms MBA FEB UGM’s commitment to producing outstanding graduates with strong competitiveness.
MBA FEB UGM extends its heartfelt congratulations to Yulistika Rahayu on her remarkable achievement as Best Graduate for the January 2026 period. May this success mark the beginning of her next strategic steps in building a meaningful career and creating a positive impact on society.
